2. Applicable law
This policy explains the processing of personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
3. Sample requests
When you submit the form, we process your name, email address, professional profile, selected finishes and, if provided, project or location, surface area, place of application, substrate and available project documents. No files are uploaded. We use this information to handle your request, identify suitable samples and reply by email. Required fields are needed to process the request. Sending a request does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
4. Legal basis and contact
The legal basis for requests about products or samples is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Other enquiries sent by email or telephone may be handled under our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), assessed according to their content. The form does not make automated decisions or build evaluation profiles.
5. Retention
Requests are sent to the contact mailbox and are not stored in a separate form database. They are retained for the time needed to handle the request and follow up the resulting relationship. Afterwards, they are retained only for periods required to meet legal obligations or address possible liabilities, and then deleted. A pseudonymised identifier derived from the IP address is temporarily retained for one hour to limit submissions.
6. Recipients and providers
Requests are delivered to info@cretamineral.com. Web hosting and email providers may access the data as service providers acting for the controller, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not disclose the data to third parties for advertising. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts; requesting them may send technical data, including the IP address, to that provider. Information on any international transfers and safeguards depends on those providers’ services.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The form does not use cookies or local storage to save responses. WordPress and other components may use necessary technical cookies, for example in site administration.
8. Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in the cases provided for by the GDPR by writing to info@cretamineral.com and specifying the right you wish to exercise. Additional information to verify your identity will only be requested where there are reasonable doubts. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
A response will normally be provided within one month; depending on complexity or the number of requests, this may be extended by two further months, with notice of the extension and its reasons within the first month. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, without first having to exhaust other channels.
9. Automated decisions and sensitive data
The sample selector does not make decisions with legal effects or create evaluation profiles. Do not provide health data, identity documents or other sensitive information in the project field.
